DIGI4TAF Opens New Opportunities for Furniture and Wood Processing Companies: Webinar on Digital Transformation to Take Place on 16 July
How can digitalisation help furniture manufacturers improve efficiency, reduce waste, adopt artificial intelligence, and strengthen their competitiveness in the European market? These questions will be addressed during the DIGI4TAF sectoral webinar on 16 July 2026. The event will serve as a starting point for companies looking to embark on their digital transformation journey and join an international capacity-building programme.
The DIGI4TAF training programme has been designed to support micro, small and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs) in implementing digital transformation in a structured way—from assessing their digital maturity to adopting advanced digital technologies and artificial intelligence solutions.
These opportunities will be presented during the "DIGI4TAF: Furniture and Wood Processing Sector" webinar, which will take place online on 16 July at 16:00 (EEST).
Why This Webinar Matters
Digital transformation is often associated with expensive technologies or complex IT solutions. In reality, it begins with understanding production processes, identifying inefficiencies, and implementing practical digital tools that enable businesses to operate more efficiently, make better-informed decisions, and improve overall productivity.
The webinar is designed for business owners, production managers, engineers, development managers, and everyone involved in modernising manufacturing operations.
Participants will receive a comprehensive overview of the DIGI4TAF training programme, including its structure, participation requirements, and expected outcomes. The organisers will explain how the programme is organised, what competencies participants will gain, and what support will be available throughout the learning process.
The webinar will also feature practical examples of digital transformation in manufacturing. Participants will hear a real-life success story from a Ukrainian furniture manufacturer that has already implemented digital solutions and will have the opportunity to ask questions during an interactive Q&A session with the DIGI4TAF team.
What DIGI4TAF Participants Will Gain
The DIGI4TAF training programme is designed to help companies develop a clear vision for their digital transformation while providing practical tools to support implementation.
Selected companies will undergo a digital maturity assessment and receive an individual Digital Transformation Roadmap tailored to the specific needs of their production processes.
The programme also includes:
Following the core training, companies from the furniture and wood processing sector will participate in a specialised module dedicated to digital and circular transformation across the entire production cycle. The programme will focus on digitalising production processes—from planning and operations management to resource efficiency, waste reduction, and the implementation of more sustainable manufacturing models.
Lviv Furniture Cluster Among the Programme Partners
The Lviv Furniture Cluster is one of the key partners supporting the implementation of the DIGI4TAF training programme and actively contributes to advancing the digital transformation of Ukraine's furniture industry.
During the webinar, Oksana Straz, Executive Director of the Lviv Furniture Cluster, will present the opportunities the programme offers specifically for furniture and wood processing companies and introduce the specialised training module developed to address the sector's needs.
"Today, Ukrainian furniture manufacturers compete not only through product quality but also through the speed of decision-making, operational efficiency, and their ability to innovate. Digital transformation enables companies to optimise processes, reduce costs, increase productivity, and meet international market requirements. DIGI4TAF provides businesses with much more than knowledge—it offers practical tools, expert support, and a clear roadmap that will help companies move from isolated digital initiatives to comprehensive production modernisation," says Oksana Straz, Executive Director of the Lviv Furniture Cluster.
