A Ukrainian manufacturer of street furniture and urban landscaping elements with its own craft production facility near Lviv — today we take a closer look at Fix Street Furniture. The company specializes in creating high-quality furniture and infrastructure solutions that improve public and private spaces, from dynamic urban areas to intimate garden terraces.
Design philosophy
At Fix, they believe that design is not just about form, but also about creating experiences. The company's mission is to design spaces where people can relax, socialize, play, and be inspired. At the same time, the company adheres to environmental and hygiene standards in production (SDG 12: Responsible consumption and production).
“We adhere to the principle of intergenerational equity, which provides for the right of future generations to access natural resources to the same extent as the current generation, and therefore we support environmental initiatives, learn and implement methods of green and circular economy,” say Fix Street Furniture.
A bench in a park, a deck chair on the coast, or a picnic set in the forest — every Fix element is created to bring people together and make the environment more comfortable and people-friendly.
Approach to production
Work on each product begins with the idea of space: how people move in it, how they interact, and how they feel. These feelings are transformed into physical objects that shape the atmosphere and improve the experience of being in public places.
Fix products combine:
Materials and environmental friendliness
The company focuses on natural and durable materials:
The furniture is treated with weather-resistant coatings and meets hygiene and environmental standards. This guarantees many years of use in various climatic conditions without losing its aesthetic appeal.
Product range
Fix creates both its own furniture lines and custom solutions in collaboration with architects, municipalities, and businesses.
Key areas include:
Inclusivity and comfort
In every project, the company strives for inclusive design: furniture should be accessible, barrier-free, and ergonomic. Fix products invite you to sit down, relax, socialize, and feel part of the environment.
Street furniture from Lviv at Oslo Design Fair 2025
The company's main mission is to create public spaces and comfortable areas for relaxation. But there are other areas of activity: design work — developing concepts for public spaces and selecting elements to improve these spaces, depending on the territory.
At the Ukrainian pavilion in Oslo, the company will present a new area of work: the creation and furnishing of individual and commercial spaces, where high-quality street furniture adds comfort, a certain intimacy, and privacy.
“It is at this exhibition that we will be testing our new direction: developing concepts and filling, for example, individual country houses, the areas around these houses, hotels, or spaces near restaurants—that is, not global areas, squares, or parks, but more, so to speak, intimate, personal spaces,“ says Oksana Straz, development director at Fix Street Furniture. ”The Chestnut series, which we have prepared for the Norwegian exhibition, and plant supports, which are convenient for zoning the territory, are just such an individual solution that can add privacy, a certain intimacy, and comfort. We are proud to represent Ukraine on the international stage and are open to new collaborations.”
Fix is more than just a furniture company. It is a team of designers, engineers, and urban space enthusiasts who view their products as elements of a holistic ecosystem of comfortable and sustainable cities.
