United Nations Industrial Development Organization invites Ukrainian enterprises to participate in the international networking event “Japanese-Ukrainian Partnerships for Green Industrial Recovery,” which will take place online for participants from Ukraine on May 26, 2026.
The initiative aims to strengthen cooperation between Ukrainian and Japanese companies in the fields of agribusiness, food value chains, and water infrastructure.
The event is organized within the framework of a large-scale international project for the green industrial recovery of Ukraine, implemented by United Nations Industrial Development Organization with the support of Japan’s Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry.
The total budget of the program amounts to USD 188 million. Its main objective is to facilitate technology transfer, support the development of new enterprises, and strengthen industrial cooperation between Ukraine and Japan.
The project plans to introduce 47 advanced technologies across priority industrial sectors while creating new opportunities for Ukrainian businesses and international partnerships.
During the event, 11 Japanese companies will present their projects currently undergoing feasibility studies in Ukraine.
Companies that successfully pass the evaluation phase will move on to pilot technology demonstration projects and may receive grant funding of up to USD 6 million per project.
