Pikart Lights: lighting that will set the mood at the exhibition in Oslo

News

Pikart is a Ukrainian designer lighting brand that combines craftsmanship, architectural approach, and the warmth of handmade products.

History and experience

Pikart is a Ukrainian designer lighting brand that combines high quality, modern design, and a deep understanding of materials. The company was founded in Lviv in 2000. Initially, the workshop worked in the field of artistic casting, but since 2014 it has focused on creating lamps based on individual projects by architects and designers. Many years of experience working with forms and technologies have helped to shape the brand's recognizable style.

How Pikart designer lamps are created

All stages of product creation — from sketch to finished product — are carried out in our own workshop. This allows us to ensure consistent quality, be flexible to customer requests, and implement the most daring ideas. The products combine brass, wood, and glass, and the handcrafted work adds individuality, warmth, and character to each lamp.

“Our lamps are handmade by craftsmen: the glass is handmade, the brass is poured by hand, it's a kind of magic of creating something more than just a lamp in the classic sense of the word,” says Andriy, a representative of Pikart.

Geography and customers

Today, Pikart lamps are known in more than 20 countries around the world. They decorate private homes, hotels, restaurants, and creative spaces. The brand's customers are architects, designers, developers, and those who appreciate individuality and unique interior items.

Brand philosophy
Pikart Lights is not just lighting. It is light with a history, created to evoke emotions and transform space.

“We are convinced that a beautiful home deserves decent lighting — high-quality, functional, and at the same time emotional. The perfect lamp emphasizes the interior, adds elegance to the space, creates the right atmosphere, and sets accents,” say Pikart.

Materials and technologies

The company's products combine modern, laconic forms with materials that craftsmen used in ancient times. Brass and copper, surface aging techniques, voluminous details — all this gives the lamps authenticity and makes them appropriate for a wide variety of interiors. Each lamp is created in our own workshop, where handcrafting and modern technologies are combined.

Oslo Design Fair

In Norway, this will be Pikart's fifth international exhibition in the last year. A new series of lamps will be presented in Oslo, combining architectural clarity of form, emotional light, and high-quality materials.

"This is another step towards making Ukrainian design recognizable and desirable in the world. We want to present the Scandinavian market with a Ukrainian collection of lamps, works created in collaboration with talented Ukrainian designers. There are many lamps in the world that are similar to each other to one degree or another, but our collection consists of unique works that are sure to impress visitors to the exhibition, thus promoting Ukraine," said Andriy, a representative of Pikart.
