Annual Conference on Eco-Industrial Parks 2026 – Ukraine

News

The Lviv Furniture Cluster systematically works to strengthen the competitiveness of manufacturers. Sustainable production, energy efficiency, and access to finance directly influence the development of the furniture industry. This includes infrastructure modernization, new management models for industrial sites, and investment attraction.

The project “Global Eco-Industrial Parks Programme II – National Implementation in Ukraine” (GEIPP-II Ukraine) invites stakeholders to participate in the annual conference on eco-industrial parks 2026 – ukraine.

Why this matters for furniture manufacturers

1. Access to finance

Eco-industrial parks create opportunities for grants, credit programs, and international technical assistance. For manufacturers, this is a practical resource for equipment modernization and reducing energy consumption.

2. Compliance with EU market requirements

European buyers increasingly assess environmental production standards. Integrating circular economy principles enhances the export attractiveness of Ukrainian furniture.

3. Reduction of operating costs

Energy efficiency, waste management, and shared infrastructure reduce production costs. This directly impacts business margins.

4. Participation in shaping the regulatory environment

Such events bring together government representatives, businesses, and financial institutions. For furniture companies, this is an opportunity to influence regulatory decisions and advocate for industry interests.

Strategic context

Ukraine’s post-war recovery is shaping a new model of industrial development. The support of international partners, including the Government of Switzerland and European programs, creates additional opportunities for sectoral manufacturers.

For the furniture industry, this is not only about environmental standards. It is about market access, financing, and long-term competitiveness.
