A Step into Europe: How the Lviv Furniture Cluster Is Opening New Markets
Today, international business missions are one of the key instruments for Ukrainian manufacturers entering European markets. The working visit to Frankfurt as part of a creative industries delegation, together with the Western Ukrainian Fashion Industry Cluster (WUFIC), is a strategic mission and an important step toward the systematic promotion of Ukraine’s furniture industry and the expansion of export opportunities.
Cluster members — Aria Ukraine, Furniture Park, Fix Streat Furniture, and TIVOLI — will take part in the mission, presenting the capabilities of Ukrainian manufacturing, design solutions, and readiness for international contracts.
The Cluster serves as a platform for the consolidated presentation of Ukraine’s furniture sector and its production potential.
During the visit, meetings are planned with key institutions shaping Frankfurt’s economic and creative policy. The agenda also includes negotiations with representatives of GIZ and the city’s Office of International Relations. Ukrainian manufacturers will showcase their potential in the furniture, textile, and fashion sectors, as well as discuss opportunities for integration into city events and partnership initiatives.
An important element of the trip will be participation in Ambiente — one of the largest international platforms in the interior and design industry.
The mission takes place within the framework of the STEP IN 2 EU program, co-financed by the governments of Germany and Norway and the European Union under the EU4Business initiative, and implemented by Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ).
For the Lviv Furniture Cluster, this mission is not only an opportunity to present Ukrainian manufacturers in Europe, but also a strategic step toward strengthening the Made in Ukraine brand as a symbol of quality, reliability, and contemporary design.
