The Lviv Furniture Cluster invites industry participants to join the international webinar “Empowering Women Leaders in the Furniture Industry” — the first session in the series of conferences “Women for a Circular Furniture Industry.”

This series of events aims to bring together inspiring women leaders, research centers, and organizations that are promoting the transformation of the European furniture industry towards sustainable and circular development.

Purpose of the event

- The online conference will mark the start of a broader initiative aimed at:
- supporting and empowering women in leadership positions;
- developing international cooperation;
- promoting the principles of the circular economy in the furniture sector.

Webinar program

The event will be opened by Raquel Ortega (CETEM) with a keynote speech:

“Leadership skills for women working in traditional industries: challenges and opportunities.”

Participants will then learn about a number of European initiatives that combine inclusiveness, innovation, and circularity in furniture manufacturing:

The event is organized by CETEM — the Furniture and Wood Technology Center of the Region of Murcia (Spain), as part of the CirCLER project, which focuses on gender equality, leadership, and the transition to a circular and sustainable economy in the furniture and woodworking industries.
