From Veteran-Owned Business to Advanced Manufacturing: How FIX Union Invests in the Future of Ukrainian Cities

Production development, innovation, and creating new opportunities for veterans are at the heart of FIX Union's mission. As a member of the Lviv Furniture Cluster, the company designs and manufactures modern solutions for public spaces across Ukraine.

FIX Union produces outdoor furniture, lighting, cycling infrastructure, and other urban improvement solutions that have become part of dozens of public spaces throughout the country. Over the past few years, the team has completed more than 70 urban development projects, ranging from public spaces near rehabilitation centers to modern parks, squares, and memorial sites.

Investing in Production Development

A new stage in the company's growth has been made possible through support from the Ukrainian Veterans Foundation, enabling FIX Union to modernize its production facilities.

The investment has allowed the company to acquire a state-of-the-art hybrid laser cutting machine, significantly expanding its manufacturing capabilities. The new equipment improves production precision, shortens manufacturing cycles, and creates opportunities to develop new products for urban environments.

Investing in People

"For us, modernizing production is about much more than new equipment—it is about people. We want to create new opportunities for veterans and people with disabilities, helping them return to professional life, develop new skills, and become part of a team that creates modern public spaces for Ukrainian cities," says Pavlo Straz, veteran and Director of FIX Union.

This approach demonstrates that veteran-owned businesses can be a powerful driver of economic growth, innovation, and positive social change.

Building a Stronger Ukrainian Industry Together

At the Lviv Furniture Cluster, we believe that supporting companies like FIX Union is an investment in the future of Ukraine's furniture and woodworking industries. Through initiatives such as those of the Ukrainian Veterans Foundation, veteran-owned businesses gain the opportunity to modernize production, create new jobs, and implement ambitious projects that strengthen the national economy. Our members not only introduce innovative solutions but also develop Ukrainian brands, support veterans, and contribute to the country's recovery.

We congratulate the FIX Union team on this important milestone and sincerely thank the Ukrainian Veterans Foundation for supporting initiatives that help businesses grow. Projects like this demonstrate that veteran-owned businesses in Ukraine are not only rebuilding after the challenges of war—they are helping shape the future of a modern, resilient manufacturing industry.
