Productivity Improvement Training for Ukrainian Companies: Practical Tools from Japanese Speaker Takao Hayashi

In today’s environment, Ukrainian businesses are increasingly facing challenges that require not just working harder, but implementing systemic solutions to improve efficiency. With this goal in mind, a practical productivity improvement training for Ukrainian companies will take place on January 14–15.

The event is organized within the framework of the national Diia.Business project with the support of the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) and relevant government institutions.

Training Program

The training program is built around practical productivity improvement tools that have long been applied in global manufacturing and industrial practices.

Special emphasis is placed on real-life case studies and hands-on exercises that can be adapted to the conditions of a specific enterprise.

Participants will explore:

production planning and control;
5S and Kaizen methodologies;
waste reduction (muda) and quality improvement;
5S audits;
optimization of logistics and transportation processes;
work sampling, line balancing, and time study;
SMED and reduction of changeover time;
efficient planning of production facilities.

Trainer

The training will be led by Takao Hayashi, a Japanese consultant with over 20 years of experience in manufacturing and international business. His expertise includes operational improvements, systems management, and continuous improvement approaches.
