Free webinar: “Kaizen: confidence in chaos or in extreme conditions”

On May 14, 2026, an online webinar will take place, organized by Kaizen Institute Ukraine in cooperation with the Kharkiv Chamber of Commerce and Industry, with the support of the Lviv Furniture Cluster and Smart Staff.

The event will focus on the practical application of Kaizen philosophy in conditions of uncertainty, turbulence — the reality in which most Ukrainian manufacturing companies operate today.

Participants will gain a structured understanding of how to:

adapt business to rapid changes;

effectively manage risks;

build strong and efficient teams;

optimize production processes and inventory management.

Continuing to master Kaizen: from seminars to practical solutions

The Lviv Furniture Cluster continues its systematic efforts to improve the efficiency of enterprises in the industry and develop managerial competencies. The focus remains on implementing Kaizen principles in furniture manufacturing as a tool for sustainable business development, even in crisis conditions.

For cluster members, working with Kaizen is not new. Previously, the Cluster organized a dedicated seminar together with Kaizen Institute Ukraine, bringing together furniture manufacturers and managers around continuous improvement, process optimization, and increasing production efficiency.

A key takeaway from that event was clear: Kaizen is not just a set of tools, but a mindset. Systematic approaches, standardization of improvements, and team involvement are what enable companies to reduce production losses, improve product quality, and build resilient business models.

Today, this direction continues through a practical online format that helps companies move from theory to real management solutions.

Expertise that works in real production

The webinar will be led by Kostiantyn Hlazkov, consultant at Kaizen Institute Ukraine, MBA, with over 15 years of management experience in Ukraine and internationally.

His background includes launching two manufacturing plants from scratch, implementing anti-crisis solutions, and optimizing production losses. His core expertise lies in Kaizen implementation, building a culture of continuous improvement, and engaging teams in change processes.

Who should attend

The webinar will be especially valuable for:

business owners and executives;

operations directors;

production managers;

team leaders and managers working with organizational change.

In essence, it is for anyone seeking practical answers to how to manage production effectively in crisis conditions without losing efficiency and quality.

Why it matters for the furniture industry in Lviv region

Today, the furniture industry operates in a state of constant turbulence: shifting markets, labor shortages, pressure on costs, and the need to expand into export markets.

In this environment, competitive advantage goes beyond the product itself. It increasingly depends on a company’s ability to adapt quickly, optimize processes, and effectively manage teams.

That is why implementing Kaizen in furniture manufacturing is not just a tool for improving efficiency, but a strategic approach to business and industry development as a whole.

The Lviv Furniture Cluster continues to ensure that regional companies gain access to modern management practices and can systematically strengthen their competitiveness.
